Circa 1918-1925 - Maroon, couplers are riveted on, two sets of stakes using metal rod to keep lumber in place.

Circa 1920-1928 - We're basing these dates solely on the cars that came with it, color is light brown all other characteristics are the same.

Comparison of early and later maroon 569 cars. Hard to see from this picture but early one on top is a redder maroon and has a more detailed frame, car on bottom has deeper maroon color and less definition in the embossing. 

Circa 1930?? - I took a quick picture of this one as it is green and I've only seen a couple green ones. It wasn't until I developed the pictures that I also realized it has three sets of stakes.
