No 0    (Circa 1908-09)

No. 0 with 0-2-2 wheel arrangement. This is the first time the small Locomotives were made of cast iron. This one has the infamous Chicago Flyer tender which can be found with locomotives from 1908-10.

Circa 1909-1910 - Here's one with a red plate but small wheel in front. This came with a set that would appear to be from 1909. Look closely at the comparison of the various 'early' small cast iron Locomotives. Note that the casting is different on early red plate locos.

Side by side comparison of most of the smaller Locomotives from 1909-1911. Note the one in the middle that has the plate 'The IVES Miniature Railway System'.  It was actually pictured this way in the 1908-09 catalogs - but the couple that we've actually seen were both from approximately 1909-1910
