Circa 1911 - Rivet boiler boiler black lithographed plate
later version with rivet detail on boiler. On the sample below Ives was nice enough to put the date as 1911, but not all of these have dates on the motor plates.
Taking a look inside the Cab window. Below is a close up of the clockwork mechanism.
RARE - Never appeared in any catalog and we can't really explain this locomotive. If it didn't have an Ives mechanism, it would really be a mystery. The number (1502) is part of the casting, much like the raised letter electrics of this same period. |
