Tender No. 11    (Circa 1915-29)

Circa 1916 with black wheels and black / white lithography

One of those odd variations special to Ives

Sort of a crossover - this tender uses the old square body but has white rubber stamped lettering. Just to show there is always more than one the example below is just stamped on the back and has an automatic coupler.

Circa 1916-22 This tender has silver rubber stamped lettering. The lettering on the example above is somewhat smaller than that from the example below which came with a mid-1920s locomotive.

Circa 1921 to 1928 with white rubber stamped lettering "N.Y.C. & H.R."

Circa 1926 this one has gold lettering.

We know this one was sold in 1928 - partly because of the No. 1 locomotive it's attached to which has the American Flyer motor, But it also has smaller American Flyer tin wheels.

We're not 100% sure on the date for this one but it has  pale rubber stamped lettering "N.Y.C. LINES
