No  3   (Circa 1910-11)

Model pictured above is circa 1910.  Same boiler casting as Numbers 1,2 and 4. These may have been made as early as 1909. Note smooth boiler, red plate. The example below is circa 1911-12 and has black plates and rivet detail.

No number on the plate and the plate is identical to what can be found on many accessories that were sold during 1909. The locomotive was actually pictured this way in the 1908 catalog, which was re-issued in 1909. This engine would appear to be from 1909-1910. We think they may have had some leftover tags and used them on some of these small clockworks??

RARE - This unusual locomotive was sold through Montgomery Wards, maybe other mail orders also, circa 1911-12. When sold through Montgomery Wards it came with a Chicago Flyer tender.. The number 1502 is part of the casting, much like the raised letter electrics of this same period.
