No. 225 / 1872 Passenger Station    (Circa 1929-1932)

Circa 1929-1930 - Same as a Lionel 127, except of course for the color and plates. This station was also sold in 1931 and 1932 but was cataloged as a No. 1872. The picture below is probably an 1872 as it has the standard IVES Irvington label on the bottom. The picture below is missing the IVES plate above the door and both the 1931 and 1932 catalog showed the plate as reading "IVES TOWN" but we've never seen it with any other plate than the one above.

The example below has cream windows compared with orange windows above.

The photo's above and below show an example of a 225 which is stamped on the bottom with the Lionel number 127
